Messenger
In order to be considered for a position you must:
- Be over the age of 21 and have a good driving record (No alcohol, careless, reckless reported on your MVR and/or more than 2 violations/accidents in last 3 years)
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Work well with others
- Be physically fit � able to lift 50 lbs.
- Have all of the essential messenger tools
- Be available 8 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday.
CitySprint specializes in urgent, on-demand point to point shipments. Our clients measure the performance of the CitySprint team each time a package in picked up and delivered. The high levels of productivity expected from the team are reflected in the earnings of our messengers. We are committed to the success of our messengers; CitySprint messengers receive higher compensation than is standard for other Twin Cities messengers. Experienced full-time CitySprint messengers receive average gross earnings in the $725 per week range. At the high end, messengers gross between $800 and $1100 per week.
CitySprint operates in a team environment. In order to reap their share of the rewards, messengers are expected to sacrifice occasionally. Messengers are expected to rise above individual challenges and work fluidly and effectively with staff and other drivers to overcome team challenges. The success of the team rewards the individuals who make the success possible. On-time performance is the true measure of success. CitySprint is also unique in the fact that is the only messenger service in the Twin Cities that requires their Independent Contractors to obtain an Occupational Accident insurance. This protects messengers from catastrophic financial loss due to injury or loss of life. Using the buying power of many, provided through Sub-Contracting Concepts Inc, we are able to offer this, to our messengers at a discount. Also included with these services are tax advice and retirement & investment planning. Lastly, we offer low cost medical, dental and vision plans for individuals and family as well as low cost group term life insurance.
